The partner consortium represents a diversity of practitioners of Public Archaeology beyond the dominant Anglo Saxon tradition in this field, INNOVARCH intends to incorporate these perspectives and experiences to a training framework linked to other cardinal cultural and social points of the European archaeological map: the Scandinavian tradition (Linneaus University), the area of Central and Eastern Europe (University of Warsaw), the Balkan and the eastern Mediterranean area (University of Crete) and, finally, the Western Mediterranean area (Autonomous University of Barcelona).
All partner teams have developed relevant investigation and action lines related to research and/or training in the field of Public Archaeology that have triggered processes of synergy and mutual learning, both in the specific field of Public Archaeology and in the management and development of European collaborative projects.
